I had a go at creating a poppy free motion picture… I used to stitch – and sell – lots of poppy\/cornfield pictures many years ago, but I’ve beeb trying – off and on, over the years – to develop a different style. The trouble with this one is that really, I didn’t have much time…and didn’t have the correct colour materials. I do intend to work into it, though – lighter poppies, darker corn…<\/p>\n

The daisy photo is from another beautiful walk in the country lanes here in Challignac, in readiness for possible future embroideries. Next to it is a hand embroidery from many, many years ago – I think I was in my teens when I stitched that! Below that, some of my older style embroideries – I’d like to experiment and combine the two styles… It’s all a question of time!<\/p>\n
