Bargello patchwork quilts…

So, I’ve been playing around with different ideas for patchwork quilts/throws for new holidays and workshops… I only came across “Bargello” quilts a few weeks ago, when someone here on a sewing weekend told me about them; I’ve done Bargello embroidery in the past but hadn’t heard of Bargello quilts… I made two samples last week, one with a contrasting colour (still to be finished), the other in shades of red/beige, which is the main photo here. I also made a 3rd quilt, with my preferred “quilt-as-you-go” method, but although it’s successful, I loathed the colours as soon as I opened the jelly roll and despite all my work, those colours still grate on me!
