1) If you’re interested in booking a holiday, the best way to discuss it, or to book, is to contact me by email at:
mailto: info@textileholiday.com
It’s helpful if you tell me what sort of holiday you’re interested in, what experience (if any) you have, and if you’re interested in a holiday travelling on your own or with a companion. I can advise on travel to this area, and of course we’ll pick you up from Perugia airport or a local train station.
2) Once you know you want to book we can fix up some dates, but also at that point you’ll need to look at transport (flights, if needed) before confirming the exact start/end date with me. Then, I’d recommend booking your flights – once you’ve reserved you chosen dates with me. I also recommend that you book travel insurance.
3) At that point, you’ll need to pay a non-refundable 25% deposit, with the remaining 75% due 6 weeks before the start date.
At the point of booking, I’ll also ask for:
- your flight details, including arrival airport and time
- your full name and address
- a copy of your passport if you are not an EU citizen – sorry, this is required throughout Italy.
(If you’d prefer to pay in instalments, you can pay in 4 instalments: (1) a 25% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking, (2 and 3) the following two payments of 25% on dates to be fixed by you when you book, and (3) the final 25% to be paid 6 weeks before the start date.)
4) Cancellation Policy:
-
- Within 6 weeks of the start date – If you need to cancel/postpone the holiday at short notice because of exceptional circumstances, such as the death of a close relative, sickness or an operation, if you’d like me to, I’ll do my very best to re-schedule your holiday, but I can’t guarantee I’ll be able to do so, and if that’s the case then I’m afraid I won’t be able to offer a refund.
- Longer than 6 weeks before the start date – If you’d like me to, I’ll do my very best to re-schedule your holiday, but I can’t guarantee I’ll be able to do so. I’ll refund any money paid except the non-refundable deposit or 25% of the holiday cost, whichever is the greater.
- Please note point (2) above – we do recommend that you take out Travel Insurance for your sewing holiday.
