This workshop is suitable for someone with some experience, who can sew and cut straight… It’s a fairly intense – busy! – day, but there’s a wonderful sense of achievement, too, when you realise you’ve almost finished an intricate lap quilt top in a day! That said, it’s nowhere near as difficult as it might look. It’s highly unlikely you will completely finish the quilt in one workshop, although it doesn’t take as long as you’d expect – you’re likely to have to attach the borders, wadding and backing at home, so only chose to attend this workshop if you are happy to do the finishing off independently. Alternatively, we can arrange for you to come in for a half day (€25) to finish it, if you’d prefer that.
