I’ve spent some time mounting and framing some of the work I did last year, plus I’ve started to – tentatively – work on slightly larger pieces. I’m experimenting with different ways of colouring fabrics – watercolour paints, fabric paints, pencils – and different ways of creating texture. The countryside here is so inspiring…I’m hoping to convey the colours, the textures, the patterns I see around me every day, into my work.
