26/6/18: Leather – 3rd Wedding Anniversary bag!

Today is my 3rd Wedding Anniversary, and how delighted I was when I realised that was “Leather”…! So, last week, we drove over to Javerlhac, to choose some leather so I could make and Anniversary bag. It would also have been my Dad’s 83rd birthday today, and it’s such a pity I can’t show him the bag I made. I’ve always loved bags – I’ve bought far too many of them – and he’d often ask: “Why don’t you MAKE one?” When you’re teaching, though – in a school – there just isn’t the time to be creative yourself during the school week and in the holidays I wanted to go out and about and visit places. Here in France, I’m lucky enough to have the time to be creative whenever I want to be! Anyway, the photo is my Anniversary Bag – a variation on my “Pippa Bag” design. There’s a little internal bag too, which I forgot to photograph.
