As well as bags, the lady on my trial Textiles Holiday also made 3 really stylish ponchos/wraps… Two are a similar style but in different lengths and fasten with buttons. You can wear them with either the buttons down the front or over the shoulder. The 3rd is more of a tabard style, made out of a lovely warm felted wool and with welt pockets at the front and beautifully bound with a very narrow binding. These types of garments really appeals to me – I’ve been planning on making some patterns for “Zero Wastage” items for a long time now, but there never seems to be enough time! These garments have really inspired me, and spurred me on to try harder to find that the; I love them!
