On Wednesday 3 ladies came along to one of my dressmaking for beginners workshops… None of them had ever made a garment before, though they’ve all previously done some sort of sewing. This tunic – made from a commercial pattern, Simplicity 4149 – is not a simple product to make – as anyone who makes clothing knows, setting in sleeves is tricky. Nevertheless, the results are 3 very professional looking tunic tops! Each one looks really different because of the fabric choice.
