Textiles studio complete!

The Textiles studio is finally finished apart from some unpacking and cleaning of windows! The attached greenhouse means I get to look out onto fields at the back, as well as over the garden/countryside at the front through the French windows… Trouble is, after all the hard work I’ve no energy and just want to sit and look at the view! It’s wonderfully light – I thought the vellux was unnecessary at one point,  but can’t imagine it without, now… It’s almost like having an outdoor studio… I’ve made space for all my Textiles books, so at last they’re together.. Dad’s armchair for if I’m hand sewing or reading… Round table and chairs for sketching or afternoon tea… Still got to find room for fabrics and haberdashery, still got to plumb in the sink!
