Today I ran the first post-summer workshop, and four gorgeous piped cushion covers were made. I usually start the workshops at the beginning of October, but we’ve just made our first trip back to the UK since we left 3 years ago, and arrived home late afternoon yesterday!
Piping isn’t as tricky as you might imagine once you’ve set your piping/zipper foot and needle in the right position, but it does involve accurate stitching. I also demonstrated how to cut bias strips from a small square of fabric… Yes, lots of joins but it saves wasting a large piece of fabric!
