31/1/18: Pyjama bottoms…

So, this afternoon my beginners group made up their pyjama bottoms, which they’d cut out at home after last week’s lesson on pattern markings etc. Everything came together really well, and all look very professional! They worked hard, chatted hard, and – I believe! – had a lot of fun. Lots of seams and neatening of seams, plus inserting side seam pockets, turning a casing, using tailor tacks and creating buttonholes. In all, a very productive afternoon.
