Yesterday afternoon I ran a Sewing Bag workshop. This project (available in my Etsy shop here: Sewing Bag, Etsy ) is great for people fairly new to sewing, but also for experienced sewists… The difficult comes from the fabrics used, and it also gives scope for simple alterations such as adding a zip along the top or a zipped pocket. It can be made from fabrics you’ve pre-decorated with, for example, patchwork, embroidery, or appliqué, or you can just choose lovely fabrics like in these examples.
We all agreed that really, the finished bags were rather nice to have as a sewing bag, and would be great for an elephant picnic or summer evening out! I’ll publish more photos in a separate post over the weekend.
