Yesterday, one of my two beginners’ classes started their last project, which is to make a reversible bag and make-up bag… There are lots of different skills covered in this project, including, inverted pleats, darts, attaching a yoke, gathering, creating a lining, inserting a zip, piping, and making a tassel. The project lasts two sessions – hopefully! – so the products should be finished after the last workshop, which is in two weeks’ time.
