Here’s my latest Woodland Walk lap quilt, made out of Moda’s “Voysey” jelly roll – I just love Arts and Craft movement designs, with the curves and swirls and the stylised foliage, flowers and animals. The colours on these particular fabrics are really rich and warm – to be honest, we I finished it I was a bit disappointed because it looked gaudy and the colours seemed too distinct. When I added the navy blue backing fabric/border, though, it seemed to tie al the different colours together beautifully – and I really like it now…which is just as well because I made it especially for myself!
