I think I like designing things better than actually making them… Well, designing and creating the prototype, so perhaps that DOES count as making! Thinking of the long summer days ahead and sticking with my favourite “convertible bag” theme I designed this using leftover pieces of leather. Certainly, not perfect yet, but a good first make, I think.
It’s intended for those days out when you just want to take the minimum – but perhaps include your kindle or iPad… Then in the evening, you want an even smaller bag, with just keys, mobile, and maybe a few coins/notes…so it folds in half! The strap is too wide for that folded version, but you get the idea…..
