After spending about 5 weeks decorating our house and the business premises, re-arranging furniture, planning new bathrooms etc, I finally managed to spend a few hours in the studio! What prompted me to put down my paintbrush for a few hours? Well, I’ve a Spanish lady here on holiday at the moment, on a “tuition-free” sewing holiday… She is staying in our little “Maison” gite and spending her days in the studio sewing…and also doing a little exploring! We had a great afternoon in Javerlhac buying fabric – how could I resist?!
I’ve started to make a couple of quilts for 2 of our guest bedrooms – the photos are “work in progress” – hopefully I will get chance to finish them soon. I’ll also be – finally! – sorting out workshop and holiday dates in the next week or two – it’s been a VERY busy few weeks!
