The lovely lady from Barcelona, who came here on a taught sewing holiday at Easter, has just been back for a fortnight’s retreat. This time, no tuition but full use of the studio, so she could bring her fabrics, patterns, and ideas and just enjoy designing and stitching, and letting the projects develop…!
Here is one of the bags she made during her stay. It’s beautiful – made out of a printed velvet, clear pvc, Liberty cotton and leather – and it demanded a whole range of very high level skills. I just love it!
