Today – since it’s precisely 1 month to Christmas Day – I thought I’d make my Christmas cards. Instead of using fabrics, I used sheets of paper printed with “Silent Night” notes and lyrics, and came up with a few different designs. All were simple, and used just the sheet music and two other papers – a pearlised green for details and a slightly heavier-weight burgundy, as the background. I made 20 smaller cards, then 6 taller ones. I played Christmas music while I worked and had a really lovely day! Early in the New Year, I just spend a day making general greetings cards, to use throughout the year.
