I thought I’d make a batch of gift cards today… I decided to base my sign on Origami because I wanted them to be a little different. I wanted a card, but a box, and somewhere to hold the actual gift voucher. The design I came up with has an Origami box stitched onto the front. When it’s closed, it’s a pretty folded paper box. When you open it, the gift card is visible… They look great as a 3D card and I think would look good framed in a box frame… However, you can also cut the box off the card to create a mini storage box for things like clips, pins, business cards etc… I made quite few because I enjoyed it…and because I think my classes and holidays make great gifts for Christmas and for birthdays…
