I wanted to take some photos of interesting doors and door knockers, to we had a drive out to Montepulciano, about 25 minutes away. Again, Montepulciano is famous for its red wine, the Rosso and the more expensive Nobile… From the top there are incredible views out towards Lake Trasimeno. There are so many interesting doors, crumbling stone facades, ancient door knockers and wrought iron lanterns that you could take 100s of photographs…how I wish I could paint!
