I visited Bronwen with two friends in September. We all belong to a quilting group near our homes in Kent and Sussex and we fancied a week immersed in new sewing projects in the sun.It was a fantastic, relaxing week with great company and fantastic hosts in Bronwen and John. They could not have done more to welcome us and look after us throughout the week.They made us feel like old friends in their lovely home.We all embarked on different quilting and embroidery projects and Bronwen was able to gauge how much help we individually needed and guide us accordingly. She is a very accomplished teacher with great experience and fantastic creative ideas.My friends quickly completed their first quilt tops in 2-3 days, each having chosen different projects. I concentrated on a log cabin quilt which took longer but with which I am very happy, and finished the week swimming in their lovely pool, and hand quilting in the sun.We had plenty of time to sit and hand sew, swim or just read a book in the olive grove or lovely garden, and each day we discovered a different town in the region too.The sense of achievement at the end of the week was immense and I cannot recommend this holiday highly enough to anyone who wants to be creative, regardless of your level of experience. I will certainly be returning for more R&R and sewing next year! Thank you to both Bronwen and John.
