Sofia Abelló (August 2021)

These photographs are just a glimpse of the beauty you can find at Bromwen and John’s new abode in Umbria. I have spent some time with them on three different holidays, twice in France and last September 2021 in Italy. And I am repeating again this September 2022.

The setting is beautiful, not on the beaten path but quite secluded which has its own charm. I explored Umbria last year, it will Tuscany this year.

I haven’t decided yet which sewing projects to bring from Barcelona. Bronwen’s work which is on display in her studio is very inspiring. From tweed and leather bags to quilts, embroidered cards, clothes making. And those exquisite Christening gowns…

No matter what, it is sure going to be a wonderful time and I cannot wait to see all the improvements they have done to the garden and the holiday home “Olive”.
