In this afternoon’s Intermediate sewing workshop, two more Harris tweed bags were made. This time, they were in a design with a folder flap, which can be worn in two different ways. One is in purple/magenta tweed with magenta corduroy and with a lovely pink/lilac floral lining, the other is in plain and plaid pale blue tweed with a blue sprigged lining. They’re not easy – they’ve got lots of different skills and the fabric is bulky in parts, so it’s a real achievement to get such a great finish. I really have to find time to make another one myself!
