Another great day in the studio making leather bags! I wanted to make a large leather and suede tote bag for spring/summer days out – no fastenings – for carrying a light scarf or jacket; something soft which I could just push things in. I also wanted my purse and phone to be sure, and liked the idea of having a removable internal bag to use for security OR independently, for when I don’t want to carry so much.
This is what I came up with a large navy suede and tan leather bag with internal and external zipped pocket and removable shoulder straps. The smaller cross body bag fastens with a zip and can be worn on its own or connected to tabs inside the larger bag, to create a secure, zipped section. I’m really rather pleased with them – I do love bags!
