5/3/18: Pink and navy suede…

After the tucking workshop this morning I started to prepare my studio for tomorrow’s “Beginners’ Leather Tote” workshop. I decided to make a little zipped purse out of suede and leather, just to get myself – and my machine – in the right frame of mind for sewing leather! It’s rose and navy suede on the front, navy leather on the back, and is lined with a printed cotton fabric in blues/lilac. It worked out really well, and this mini-project reminded me – you should change your needle FREQUENTLY when you’re sewing with leather!
