5/3/18: Tucked cushion covers…

I ran a workshop on “Decorative Tucking” this morning and two very capable ladies made beautiful cushion covers. Both in neutral colours, both very successful indeed; one made of very fine natural coloured linen which was a nightmare to handle, but which really showed off the technique well because of the variations in the density of the material. The other, a lovely crisp ivory cotton sateen, which resulted in sharp, precise tucks.
