So, I’ve finished my cushion covers made from Moda’s “Voysey” fabrics – a fabric range inspired by the Arts and Craft movement designer Charles Voysey. They’ve turned out exactly like I wanted – strong contrasts and with a contemporary feel, rather than traditional patchwork. As always, the photos were taken on the cream sofa in our self-catering cottage attached to my studio, but they were actually made for my sitting room sofa, which is a blue/jade shade, and they do look very good in there, too.
It makes such a change having some time to make things for the home just because i want to – I’m usually making things specifically for workshops or to create a pattern/instructions to sell on Etsy. That said, I WILL put the instructions on Etsy at some point!
