This workshop is suitable for someone with some experience, who can sew and cut straight… It’s a fairly intense day, but there’s a wonderful sense of achievement, too, when you realise you’ve almost finished an intricate lap quilt top in a day! That said, it’s nowhere near as difficult as it might look! It’s highly unlikely you will completely finish the quilt in one workshop, although it doesn’t take as long as you’d expect – you’re likely to have to attach the borders, wadding and backing at home, so only chose to attend this workshop if you are happy to do the finishing off independently.
TIMES: 10am – 5pm. Tea/coffee and biscuits provided but please bring a packed lunch.
COST: €50
SEWING MACHINES: Either bring your own or use one of mine.
MATERIALS: You’ll need to bring all the required materials to the workshop.
