I’ve had a few days holiday while my friend visited from the uk! I did manage a morning’s sewing, though, and made a cool cotton shift dress. Apart from that, the last thing I made was my Wedding Anniversary bag and the internal bag that goes inside it… I’ve sent out some quilt patterns – Bargello and Log Cabin – to my testers and am waiting for feedback so I can improve them, if need be.
We’ve had a few days out – Aubeterre, to the Sunday morning market and for lunch, Talmont, on the Gironde estuary – also for lunch, plus an evening in a local restaurant, overlooking the lake at Brossac. It’s been HOT – well over 30 degrees but with a couple of dramatic overnight storms, too.
Between now and 16th I’m going to have a few days off plus a few days in my studio, hopefully preparing some new ideas.
