Last week I ran two workshops – one on making a child’s dress, the other “Free Machine” embroidery… Here are some of the results of the free machine embroidery session. This technique involves dropping the feed and “drawing” (or “painting”) with the thread. It’s very difficult at first, but once you’ve mastered the control – of moving the hoop and of the speed – the possibilities are endless!
