Introducing knits…

The second Intermediate workshop introduces knitted fabrics, and I’ve got lots of samples of fabric for them to stitch on, to see the different ways in which they behave. I’ve got a couple of single jerseys – one cotton, one with a high content of polyester, so they can see the – possible – need for ball point needles. In the second session they will be working with fleece fabric, and making some hand warmers and a heated wrap/ice pack – the intention is that they will make a knitted fabric garment later on the Intermediate course.
