17/8/18: French Star…

Here’s the mini wall hanging I made the other day… It’s made out of Moda’s “Yuki” mini charm squares, and is only 30cm x 30cm. It was more challenging than I thought – pressing the seams open on such tiny triangles (and on a HOT afternoon!) wasn’t fun. So, before I develop the idea I’m going to experiment with a way of overcoming that problem. i also need to improve the way it’s attached to the frame, but I’m hoping to solve both problems in the next few days. I’m calling the design “French Star”… It probably already exists under another name, but since I came up with it myself using graph paper and a pencil, I do feel it’s ok to name it!
