For those of you in the UK, today’s Telegraph magazine “Saturday” features an article called: “People who went on holiday – and never came back”! – – and I’m one of the 4 people in the article. I “met” the journalist on Twitter, who interviewed me over the telephone, then they flew a photographer over here from the UK, put him up in a hotel in Perugia, and then he drove out to Passignano, then Castiglione, and finally to our home to take photos of me for the article. This took 4 hours…luckily he was very nice, but I loathe having my photo taken, hate being the centre of attention. Unfortunately, the photo they chose doesn’t really represent Castiglione very well – it looks shabby, run down, whereas in fact it’s a very charming old town, looking out onto Lake Trasimeno.
