Today, some of my “students” who started on the “Beginners’ Workshops” in October finished the last of the scheduled 16 sessions. Many of them had never sewn before, some hadn’t used a sewing machine for 30+ years… They have all been superb students and lovely ladies too – and every one of them is now, in my opinion, very competent! The dresses incorporated a whole range of skills including, tucks, pleats, gathers, bias binding, curved patch pockets…..
