The empire line dress by one of my regular “students” is made from a very soft viscose – which has perfect drape for this style, but is a nightmare to work with. The circular tied back is particularly well done! Also almost finished this week, is a gorgeous Liberty cotton lawn tunic in beautiful colours… It’s a lightweight fabric so not the easiest for setting in sleeves, but with some patience and skill, this was done very well indeed…
