15/6/19: New Sewing Machines!

Since Thursday was – apparently – National Sewing Machine day, I thought I’d invest in 4 new machines for Textile Holidays France. I ordered them late on Wednesday afternoon and they arrived in France today, which I think is pretty impressive! So far, I’ve only tried out one of them, but I think it’s ideal for what I use them for here in my studio. The controls are intuitive, it’s fairly quiet, and there are lots of variations on stitch length and needle position. I also bought accessories in the “Quilting Pack” to go with them, so each has a sturdy extension table plus various presser feet, including “stitch-in-the-ditch” and 1/4″… Now I’ve got to re-arrange my sewing machine storage space!
