10/11/19: Needlepoint

When we went to the Knitting and Stitching Show in October, I fell in love with me embroideries on a stall run by “West End Embroidery”… They were all, to my eyes, very original – I loved the 3D effect of some of the stitches; they reminded me of those pictures made with nails and sparkly thread back in the 1970s – and of my Spirograph…..both of which I adored! So I bought a kit and a couple of weekends ago thoroughly relaxed while carefully woking my way through the design; it was so utterly relaxing and therapeutic, after a very busy few weeks. I finally managed to buy a suitable frame for it, so here is the finished piece.
